Mikel Arteta names Pep Guardiola the best manager in the world “by a mile” ahead of Etihad showpiece

Mikel Arteta has named Guardiola as the best manager in the world by a mile ahead of other managers. He said this in his pre-match press conference ahead of taking his side into a clash with Manchester City.

He explained that Guardiola has changed the standards of football in England since his arrival, and also in the world.

Mikel also commented on how his friendship with Guardiola has changed since the took the reins at Arsenal. The Arsenal manager explained that the relationship has had to change but he still respects one of the “nicest” persons in football.

Manchester City versus Arsenal is considered as one of the biggest games this weekend. It sees Arteta take on the team he considers is managed by the best manager in the world by a mile.

This clash at the Etihad is a 6-pointer and is considered to be a title contention decider. For both teams, especially Arsenal, it is a must win as it helps to determine how far they have come.

Guardiola revealed in his press conference that injury doubts Walker and stones will be out of the game on Sunday.

The pair picked up injuries while on international duty with England and fail to make it in time for this one.

Meanwhile, Martinelli, Gabriel and Saka will be assessed tomorrow to see if they will be fit for the game.
