3. Bayern Munich – 2012, 2014
Bayern Munich went 53 games unbeaten under manager Jupp Heynckes between 2012 and 2014, setting a new record for the longest unbeaten run in German football history. The Bavarian giants’ impressive run included a treble-winning season in 2012/13.
4. Paris Saint-Germain – 2015/16
PSG went an astonishing 36 games unbeaten during the 2015/16 season under manager Laurent Blanc. They set a new record for the longest unbeaten run in French football history in doing so. The Parisian club’s dominant run helped them secure a fourth consecutive league title and establish themselves as the top team in France.
5. Bayer Leverkusen
Bayer Leverkusen’s 1-0 victory over Union Berlin, Leverkusen equaled a league record of 28 consecutive matches unbeaten.
Leverkusen have proven to be the team to beat this season having also gone unbeaten in 41 matches across all competitions.
