Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland has called out Bayern Munich for trying to sign him when they had Robert Lewandowski, tagging it an insult to the player.
Bayern Munich were heavily interested in signing Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund despite the deal not falling through.
The Norwegian striker never showed interest in joining his former team rivals, he instead joined Premier League topflight team, Manchester City.
When asked about his refusal to join Bayern Munich, Haaland said he had no plans of joining the German team and he saw it as an insult to Robert Lewandowski for them to be interested in him when they have him.
Uncertain news about Lewandowski wanting to leave Bayern Munich because they were interested in signing Haaland flew around at that time.
Both Lewandowski and Haaland are no longer in the German Bundesliga as Lewandowski now plays for Barcelona in Spain and Haaland for Manchester City in England.
