Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag have been given a new nickname, “Erik seven Hag” after his team got an embarrassing 7-0 defeat in the hands of Liverpool.
Liverpool welcomed Manchester United at their Anfield Stadium for a Premier League clash. With the match starting on a good note for Manchester United, the Carabao cup winners got the first four shots on target of the match.
Things turned around for Liverpool in the last few minutes of the first half after Cody Gakpo curled the teams first shot of the match past David De Gea. It went on to be a festival of goals as Liverpool found the back of the net a further six times in the second half.
Bants and trolls started immediately by rival fans who targeted Man Utd players who were not at their best, an easy example being Lisandro Martinez who got humiliated by Mohamed Salah.
Man Utd manager, Erik ten Hag got a new name, with “seven” from the score-line substituting “ten,” bringing an outcome of Erik seven Hag.
