For the first time since the Saudi takeover, Paris Saint-Germain are in the new for not just big buys but also big sales. The French team have saw 4 of their players sign for Asian teams (three in Saudi Arabia and one in Qatar).
PSG experienced an almost team turn-over under new manager, Luis Enrique. Letting go some stars for big money and also buying some for big money. Players like Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos who joined the club for free in the summer of 2021 also left for free after two years.
A lot of new faces would be seen in the Parc des Princes this summer with the French top side making 13 summer signings, they include;

- Milan Skriniar
- Kang-In Lee
- Lucas Hernandez
- Ousmane Dembele
- Goncalo Ramos
- Arnau Tenas
- Xavi Simons
- Cher Ndour
- Bradley Barcola
- Hugo Ekitike
Some of these new players are however sent out on loan for further development pending when they are able to break into the first team.
A total of 10 players left PSG in the summer of 2023, though most left on a free transfer, the club were able to generate €159 million from four sales who headed to far East.
- Neymar – Al-Hilal €90 million
- Marco Verratti – Al-Arabi € 45 million
- Abdou Diallo – Al-Arabi €15 million
- Georgino Wijnaldum – Al-Ettifaq €9 million
These four sales sums up the highest amount PSG have made from selling players in a single season. However the tally rises to €193 million if the €34 million made from selling players to clubs around Europe is added. Other players sold includes;
- El Chadaille Bitshiabu
- Mauro Icardi
- Junior Dina Ebimbe
- Leandro Parades
Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos were released.
