Leeds United fans had a heavy face-off with angered Millwall fans during the Championship tie and captured scenes where Millwall fans showing stab gestures to them.
Leeds United won Millwall with three goal deficits and moved up 10th place in the Championship table. The thrilling win was how ever not the main talking point of the match after the intense taunting Leeds United fans experienced.
The massive intimidation Leeds United faced started when their players came off their team bus at Millwall’s The Den stadium. Millwall fans were seen and heard using vulgar words on Leeds United players.
It didn’t end with the players as Millwall fans extended their horrific show off to the fans of Leeds United. Heated shouts with extreme insulting words, worrisome signs that include signs of stab gestures were shown to Leeds United fans.
A Millwall fan angered by the chants of Leeds United fans were filmed pointing to a Leeds United fan and showing signs of killing. Other fans were seen fuming and also showing various signs to their visiting rivals.
A Millwall fan was seen wearing a Galatasaray shirt despite the ban in place to keep fans from wearing the Turkish team jersey and making their chants during games against Leeds.
Leeds fans however reacted calmly to the tantrums thrown by Millwall fans. They sat at their positions in the stands, kept cheering their players up and captured moments where Millwall fans showcased themselves.
Stewards stood firm, witnessed what was transpiring between both fans and made sure it didn’t escalate into a physical battle.
