Claude Makelele has formally resigned from his position with Chelsea.
Makelele served as the club’s loan manager and “technical mentor” at the club before letting go of his position.
A mutual agreement was reached between Makelele and Chelsea for his contract to be terminated. He has since departed Chelsea.

Claude Makelele is not the only one who has left Chelsea in recent time. Makelele announcement comes after it was revealed on Monday that coach Bruno Saltor had been abruptly fired.
Makelele played 217 times for Chelsea and claimed two Premier League titles, two FA Cups, and two League Cups, when he first ever joined the club.
