Meet Chelsea target Noni Madueke; bio, family and true origin

Chelsea are still in the business of signing young players as they look to build the team for the future. Noni Madueke is the latest player to be on Chelsea radar.

Noni Madueke is becoming a major target for Chelsea with the England u21 star impressing at PSV. The West London club are looking to lure him back to England.

Noni Madueke Biography

Chukwunonso Tristan Madueke (full name), fondly called Noni Madueke was born on 10th March 2002 in Barnet England. Born into a family of four, Noni Madueke had just a sister and his both parents.

Noni was born in a poor neighborhood, in the outskirt of London. His parents were low income earners who struggled to go about their day-to-day activities.

How he got the name “Noni.”

The 20 years old midfielder, was nicknamed “Noni” from his first name, Chukwunonso which can also be called Chinonso. Noni was spelt backwards from Ch’inon’so.

Noni Madueke Origin

From his name, it is easily traceable that Noni Madueke is from Nigeria. His both parents are from a popular African tribe called Igbo. The Igbos are the Eastern part of Nigeria and they posses a unique language.

Despite his Nigerian origin, Noni Madueke was born in England and so posses two citizenships.

Noni Madueke career

Noni Madueke dad helped him kickoff his football career. He started off playing local football in the streets of Barnet. He started playing for King George FC in Welwyn Garden City.

Not long after, scouts from Crystal Palace found him and were impress by his talent after shining at a London local tournament. He signed for the team after passing their trials.

After two years he was approached by Tottenham Hotspur. With the approval of his parents, he moved to Spurs academy. Not long after scoring 25 goals in 22 games in his first season at Spurs, he was named the captain of Spurs academy.

Subsequently, he was called to represent England at the u16 level. Not long after, despite interest from top English clubs, Noni Madueke choose to sign for PSV in The Netherlands.

In Netherlands, he started of at Jong PSV, the youth team of PSV before he was promoted to the first team and given the number 10 jersey.

Noni Madueke is now monitored by a number of big clubs across Europe top five leagues with Chelsea being the forerunners.
