Cristian (Chicho) Arango celebrated as a snow angel

The game between Real Salt Lake and Los Angeles FC had to be played on a thick layer of snow. The weather was okay at the start but was stopped briefly after an initial delay.

The game ended in a 3-0 win for Real Salt Lake but it’s the celebration for one of the goals that has caught the eye.

After opening the scoring following a ball drilled into the box from Andre Gomez, Chichi slid in to knock the ball past the keeper. He wheeled off in happiness, plumping onto the floor and celebrating as a snow angel.

Chicho’s goal sealed Real Salt Lake’s first win in the new MLS season.

Former Tottenham goal goal keeper Hugo Lloris was in goal for Los Angeles FC. He could do very little about the goals from Real Salt Lake after starting with some brilliant saves.

He started in Los Angeles’s first win of the season in what was a 2-1 win. The Frenchman referred to the game as one of the worst professional sporting events he has ever seen in his life.
