Argentina players observes a minute of silence for Kylian Mbappe

Argentine players had a superb celebration after surviving Kylian Mbappe triple equalisers and going on to win the World Cup finals on penalty.

Argentina took a 2-0 lead in the first half with goals from Lionel Messi and Angel Di Maria. They were at the peek of jubilation before Kylian Mbappe equalised both goals within 93 second with just ten minutes of regular time play left.

Argentina took the lead for the second time in the match after Messi scored in the second half of extra time but again, Mbappe equalised from the spot.

The fate of the match was decided on penalty and Argentina’s Emiliano Martinez made a save while Tchouameni missed his kick from the spot.

Jubilations followed immediately, with the stadium going overhaul from excited Argentina players and fans.

Taking the celebration into the dressing room, Argentina keeper, Emiliano Martinez organised his teammates to hold a minute of silence for Kylian Mbappe who is hurt by the outcome of the match.

Emiliano Martinez was captured comforting Kylian Mbappe after the match, lifted him up after whispering words of encouragement.
