Arsenal turns attention to Rafael Leao after losing out on Mudryk

Arsenal have now turned their attention to AC Milan Rafael Leao after losing out on signing their long time target, Mykhailo Mudryk.

Mykhailo Mudryk was a long term target for Arsenal but the club couldn’t secure the signing of the player with Chelsea hijacking the deal.

Mikel Arteta’s men will now turn their eyes to Portuguese star, Rafael Leao who is rated as one of the best wingers in football at the moment.

Chelsea showed had interest in Leao but opted to sign Mykhailo Mudryk after failing to get agreed terms with AC Milan who are trying to get the player to sign a new contract. His current contract expires in 2024.

Rafael Leao had earlier revealed he loves Arsenal, adding that the North London club plays very well.

“I’ve seen a lot of games this year.

“I like Arsenal, I think they play very well.”

Rafael Leao is liked by ‘half of the Premier League, but ‘Arsenal are in the lead’ for his signing. AC Milan see Leao as ‘irreplaceable’ & want to ‘lock down’ the player for ‘as long as possible.
