A video posted on Astrid’s social media showed Leah Ray, Astrid’s friend, laying down in a tattoo parlour. Astrid filmed as Leah got a tattoo that suggests she hopes Arsenal win the league ahead of Manchester City.

 

The tattoo is a picture of the Premier League trophy over which is the inscription, “Arsenal, Premier League champions.”

Leah seems to be confident that Mikel Arteta’s side will manage to pip Manchester City to the title:

“Arsenal is definitely winning the league, so I decided to make it permanent.”

Astrid however begged to differ, insisting she doesn’t think the Gunners will lift the trophy this season.

She said: “You are actually a mug!”

Many fans believe Leah Ray’s tattoo is too soon and she may come to regret it.

The Gunner may have to finish the season flawlessly to have any chance of winning the league, and even that may not be sufficient.

Arsenal’s remaining games include a trip to Old Trafford to face Manchester United and Everton at home.

Winning those games however would do nothing to help their cause if Manchester City go on to win their remaining three fixtures.

Football Fans have reacted to Leah’s outrageous decision to get tattooed with so much left to play for.

One fan responded:

While another asked: “What if they bottle it?!”

Other fans chose to be skeptical as to the authenticity of the tattoo, some suggesting that it could just be a prank.

One wrote: “Washed off in the shower…”

While another added: “Not believing for a second that this is real”.
