Real Madrid won Atletico Madrid 5-3 to book a spot in the final of the Spanish Super cup.

The match kicked off with Atletico Madrid becoming the first team to find the back of the net. It took no time for Real Madrid to grab an equalizer through Rudiger. Nine minutes later, Real Madrid took Mendy, Greizmann equalized few minutes later, ending the first half in a 2-2 draw.

Rudiger own goal put Atletico Madrid in front in the 78th minute before Carvajal late equalizer saw the 90th minute of the match end in a 3-3 draw.

Going into extra time, Savic own goal gave Real Madrid the lead with less than four minutes left to play. The game wrapped up after Brahim Diaz unleashed an unbelievable sprint to get to the ball ahead of Jan Oblak before shooting the all into the back of the net from midway through.

Real Madrid will face the winner between Barcelona and Osasuna in the Spanish Super Cup final.
