Casemiro eyes first ever football hattrick at Manchester United

Manchester United midfielder, Casemiro is looking to score his first ever hattrick since becoming a professional football player, netting brace against Reading.

Manchester United host Reading in the 4th round of the FA Cup and are defeating the visitors 3-1, with the first two goals shockingly coming from Casemiro. Fred scored the third before Amadou Mbengue got a consolation goal for Reading.

It’s one of the very rare times one gets to watch Casemiro score a brace as it is very hard to see a defensive midfielder do such. The role of defensive midfielders doesn’t put them in a position to often get in front of goals. They most likely shoot from range or coming to try a header during corner kicks.

Casemiro however has been in a great scoring form since his arrival at Manchester United. The Brazilian has already surpass his goal tally at Real Madrid last season with lot of matches left to play. Debates about Casemiro playing better at Manchester United than he did at Real Madrid are coming up quicker than expected.

Scoring a brace in the early part of the second half gives Casemiro a chance of getting a third goal which will mark his first ever hattrick as a professional footballer. With the match still have a few minute play time, the Brazilian would love to score a third and knows what taking a ball home feels like.

Casemiro is one of the highest goalscoring midfielder in the Premier League at the moment and he’s playing a key role, helping the team win matches. Manchester United are currently sitting at 3rd position on the EPL table.
