Jeremie Frimpong told Xhaka that he left Arsenal to win a title at Bayer Leverkusen, after sealing the title.

It was always just a matter of time before Bayer would be confirmed as champion’s after bulldozing their way to the title.

Bayer’s wrapped up the title with a 5-0 win over Werder Bremen which confirmed the mathematical impossibility of being toppled by Bayern. But even that would have required an implosion of catastrophic proportions from Bayer to happen.

The team only needed a win from their final eight games to clinch the title, such was the level of dominance they have enjoyed this season.

They are top of the league, thirteen points above Bayern, and also into the quarter final of the Europa League. Record breaking Alonso has everyone in Bayer Leverkusen dreaming after winning them their first silverware in 31 years!

Xabi Alonso’s men are also currently enroute to an unbeaten season in the Bundesliga after clinching the title.
