Cheeky Antoine Griezmann deal that would see Barcelona loss $57m

A cheeky Antoine Griezmann’s loan deal by Atletico Madrid will see Barcelona loose a staggering $57m and Spanish team ain’t moved by it.

Barcelona signed Griezmann from Atletico Madrid but the French international had to return back to the Spanish club after falling out of place in the Catalan.

During the contract agreement of Antoine Griezmann loan return to Atletico Madrid, one of the clause includes Atleti signing Griezmann on a permanent basis for $57million should he play 30 minutes or more in at least 80 percent of matches in which he’s available to play

Atletico Madrid are doing everything humanly possible to avoid paying the $57m in the deal if Griezmann gets lot of playing time, so they settled for playing the World Cup winner for less than 30 minutes.

With the deal, Atletico coach, Diego Simeone has opt to play Griezmann less than 30 minutes to the end of matches.

He was brought on with just 28 minutes left to play in Atletico Madrid opening two matches and 26 minutes of playing time in the third match.
