Chelsea Football Club are likely to face 9 points deduction following the sanction of club owner, Roman Abramovich, being only part of the numerous effects of his sanction on the club.

The United Kingdom government has officially frozen all assets belonging to the Russian billionaire after threatening to do so weeks ago.

Following the sanction, Chelsea won’t be able to renew contracts of players who are running out of contract. The club won’t be able to sell tickets for fans to come spectate matches.
