Is Christian Atsu dead?

Christian Atsu have reportedly died in the rubble of Turkey’s earthquake.

Atsu was sadly a victim of the Turkey and Syria 7.8 magnitude earthquake. While over 23,000 people have been declared dead and 77,000 others injured, the whereabouts of Christian Atsu is yet to be known.

An unverified new about the former Chelsea and Newcastle United player being pulled out of the rubble and was receiving treatment in a medical facility went viral to the amazement of many. However, Hatayspor President and Christian Atsu debunk the news, confirming that the Ghanaian have not been found and his whereabouts remains unknown as the reported person was a mistaken identity.

It’s now unclear how possible it is for Christian Atsu to still be alive if he’s still stuck under the wreckage caused by the earthquake, as it’s been five days.

Family members of the player are in panic regarding the state of their brother. Christian Atsu elder brother, Isaac Teye Twasam disclosed that members of their family are all gathered in their late parents home in Ghana as they await the news regarding Atsu.

Christian Atsu both parents are late. He’s left with siblings distant family members. His wife, Marie-Claire Rupio and their kids lives in London.
