Bukayo Saka has launched a limited edition Nandos peri-peri sauce. In his words, the peri-peri sauce is “sweet, spicy and smoky.
The Arsenal player, one of the best right wingers in the world, said:
“The sauce mixes sweet, spiciness and smokiness. I love it and can’t wait for everyone to try it.”
He also discussed how mad his achievement was, considering he has been a regular at the Afro-Portugese restaurant since he was a kid.
“I’ve been going to Nando’s since I was little so to have my own Peri-Peri sauce in every restaurant in the country is quite mad.
“My family’s really important to me so I wanted to make sure they liked it too. As soon as my dad said he was a fan, I knew it was the one.”
Bukayo Saka now joins Jack Grealish in owning a Nandos peri-peri sauce. His fellow England international debuted his sauce at a Christmas party in December 2023.
The super Jack sauce debuted in this party held at a rented out Nandos restaurant and included his former Aston Villa team mate John McGinn.
After Grealish posted a picture of him along with shots of his sauce, Saka moved to comment on the photo. He said:
“Lemme get one of them sauces.”
As it turns out, Saka has now repeated Grealish’s feat but on a larger scale.
Saka can now be proud to be having “quite a mad” season, as he describes his sauce. Bukayo Saka has launched a limited edition Nandos peri-peri sauce and also recorded 16 goals and 12 assists in all competitions for Arsenal.
Grealish on the other hand is not enjoying his best having spent most of his time on the bench or out injured.
Despite this being a remarkable achievement for the Arsenal wide man, fans are not too happy with him. Some believe he should concentrate on his football and help Arsenal in their Champion’s League and Premier League quest.
