Former Liverpool and Senegal forward, Sadio Mane has tied the knot with his partner, Aisha Tamba.

The couple first met 2 years ago in Dakar, the capital of Senegal before they started dating.

Mane’s marriage came as a surprise to many because the Senegalese had maintained a very low profile on his love life, only commenting on the type of woman he would love to get married to.

Mane reportedly first met Aisha Tamba when she was 16-year-old. Though they kept a good relationship that involves communication and others, nothing formally kicked off between them because she was a minor.

Aisha Tamba’s father is an architect. They hail from Casamance, a neighbouring village to Mane’s Bambali. Mane saw her through school.

The couple waited for Aisha Tamba to clock 18 before legally getting married to Sadio Mane.
