Donny Van de Beek’s new born has been branded a Gooner by his Arsenal legend grandfather. The Manchester United midfielder, currently on loan at Eintracth Frankfurt, is partner to the daughter of Arsenal legend Denis Bergkamp.

Van de Beek and Estelle have been together since they met in Amsterdam in 2019. The pair had their first child, a daughter, three years later.

Their second child finally arrived last month and is currently the toast of the family.

Dennis Bergkamp spotted Van de Beek when he was working as a youth coach at eredivisie side, Ajax.

He spotted Van de Beek at the age of 10 years and over saw his ascent into first team football in 2017.

VDB lived up to the billing and was named in a 30-man Ballon d’or shortlist just a year later. One year later he earned his move to Manchester United where his career has stalled since then.

Dennis Bergkamp has moved quick to steal a match on eternal rivals United by branding his grandson a Gooner.

Bergkamp posted a picture of Estelle and the baby on social media standing in front of his statue at the Emirates. The baby could be seen sporting a number 10 Arsenal jersey with Bergkamp’s name on it.

 

What next for Van de Beek?

Van se Beek’s career seems to be on a tail spin at the moment. He has been on several loan spells away from Manchester United. This latest spell has only yielded six appearances and four starts.

The 26 year old will hope he can resuscitate his flailing career with strong performances at Eintracth Frankfurt.
