Arsenal labour to Victory versus Low-block Brentford

Arsenal needed a controversial late winner from Kai Havertz to beat Brentford on Sunday. The win saw them climb temporarily to the top of the table ahead of the mammoth top of the table clash between City and Liverpool.

There was no swashbuckling football or goals galore versus a resolute Brentford side. But there was something important, a win.

The build up to the match with all that was at stake, coupled with the comments from TAA, left emotions at an all time high.

Every fan in the stadium got their money’s worth of entertainment in a match that had it all. Everything, except a winner.

It was a befitting way to end a one V one duel in arguably the greatest managerial rivalry in the Premier League.

With ten games to go and the Premier League title up for grabs, they will both be looking to have one last laugh over each other.

One point separates the top three going into the final ten games.

We have an incredible title race on our hands don’t we?. Just a single point separates the teams in first and third and with just ten games to go, there is no room for any hiccups.

 

At the Bottom

 

It’s also neck to neck at the bottom, especially for the sides above the drop zone. Just two points separate 15th from 17th, and a further three points separates 17th and 18th.

Luton and Burnley managed one precious PL point apiece for the first time in four matches. Luton look to still have their Premier League status in their hands at the expense of a number of sides above them.

Sheffield United also managed a draw like Burnley who they are level on points with. What both sides need is a miracle, with just ten games left of the Premier League season.
