“Erik ten Hag should kneel down and apologize to Cristiano Ronaldo” – Piers Morgan

British journalist, Piers Morgan whose interview with Cristiano Ronaldo led to the termination of the player’s contract has ordered Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag to go on his kneel and apologize to Ronaldo.

Cristiano Ronaldo was having a not too good second season at Manchester United after returning to the club for the second time. The Portuguese was subjected to sitting on the bench, playing for minutes and not getting featured in big matches. This ill circumstances made made made him grant an unexpected interview to Piers.

The interview with Piers Morgan came as a big shock to the football world. Ronaldo took 90 minutes to spill out things he felt were not right and was hundred percent unapologetic for it. He revealed he has no respect for Erik ten Hag because the Manchester United boss does not respect him.

Piers Morgan has being a big supporter of Ronaldo and is always on his side. Morgan spilled ill things targeted at Erik ten Hag after his interview with Ronaldo led to the termination of the player’s contract. When asked if he would apologize to the Manchester United boss for the words he used on him, Piers Morgan told talkSport;

“Absolutely not. I expect Ten Hag to get down on bended knees and apologize to Cristiano Ronaldo for the shocking disrespect he has shown him.”

Ronaldo was however linked with a move away from Old Trafford during the summer as he was hell bent on playing in the Champions League and wanted a club that has qualification to play in the UCL.

Ronaldo joined Saudi club Al Nassr after his contract termination. Manchester United on the other hand is yet to loose a match since Ronaldo left the team.
