Europe produces better footballers than the rest of the world – Arsene Wenger

Former Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has claimed better footballers are produced in Europe other than any continent of the world.

Siting example with Kylian Mbappe, Wenger said the World Cup winner wouldn’t have been the world class striker he is today if he was born in Cameroon, his country by blood.

In football talent development, South America are seen by many as the continent that produces more talents than others and followed closely by Europe but Arsene Wenger sees differently.

“Kylian Mbappe has African roots but was trained in Europe. If he’d been born in Cameroon, he wouldn’t have become the striker he is today. There’s Europe and there’s the rest of the world. The latter needs help, otherwise we’re going to miss a great deal of talent.”

Stars like Messi, Neymar, Vinicius Jr, Di Maria etc or birthed from South America, while the likes of Ronaldo, Benzema, Mbappe etc birthed from Europe.
