FIFA makes Vinicius Jr head of anti-racism committee

FIFA in a bid to curb the widespreading racial issues profiling football has announced Vinicius Jr the head of anti-racism committee.

Vinicius Jr over the past season in La Liga suffered a tremendous amount of racism from fans. The Brazilian was labelled with all sort of racial names and mimicked with ill things.

The football governing body is bent on making the sports free and fair for people of all races, regardless of their skin colours or looks.

The anti-racism committee will decide what the punishment of racists would be. They will draft rules and regulations, make it public for all to create awareness.

Racism in football has becoming very excessive. On number of occasions racists chants have been heard in La Liga, Premier League, Italian Serie A etc, and these chants are targeted to the coloured players.

Aside the stadium, fans now go to the social media pages of these players to drop sickening comments.

While rules are open fights have being made (e.g taking the knee) some players like Vinicius Jr and Wilfred Zaha believed not enough measures are being met to curb the act.

The new rules set aside by the committee are expected to be strict.
