Gabriel and Trossard enthusiastically celebrate a block versus Brighton despite being 3-0 up

Gabriel and Trossard enthusiastically celebrated a block today right after Arsenal went 3-0 up versus Brighton.

Brighton hosted Arsenal at the Amex today in a potential banana skin for the title chasers. Manchester City’s win earlier piled the pressure on the gunners, who have a record of choking when it matters.

Arsenal made light work of Brighton’s test, completely dominating the ball, an unusual sight for sides coming to the Amex.

Arsenal went into the break with a one goal lead from the penalty spot through Saka on his return to the starting XI.

The second half was less dominant though with Brighton upping the ante searching for an equalizer.

The equalizer did not come, instead Arsenal doubled their advantage through Havertz. Jorginho claimed the assist for the goal after being played through to square for Harvetz.

From then Brighton laid siege on the Arsenal box, shifting the ball around, trying to find an opening. They however met the same resistance as Manchester City last weekend. Instead a loose ball, after a Rice challenge, fell to Havertz who found Harvetz in acres of space.  The Belgian ran half the length of the field and managed to hold his nerve to dink the ball over the goalkeeper.
