Manchester City striker, Gabriel Jesus has revealed the story behind his iconic call celebration.

Gabriel Jesus after scoring a goal will always run to the sideline and placed his right hand like he’s sending a call message to someone in the stands.

Speaking about his celebration, Gabriel revealed it was a sign to his ex girlfriend who stopped picking his calls when he was playing in Palmerias, only to start calling him when he moved to Manchester City.

“My celebration was a message to my ex gf who didn’t answer my calls at Palmerias, but messaged me when I moved to City.”

Gabriel Jesus played for Palmerias from 2015 to 2017 before moving to Europe with Manchester City in 2017. The Brazilian has continued to impress since he arrived the Premier League and is considered one of the most skillful strikers in the league.
