“Globe Soccer Award” Messi fans vote for Ronaldo to win as Ballon d’OR compensation

The rivalry between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo is not sliding off anytime soon. It moved to a new level after Globe Soccer Award opens its voting.

Messi has got more football related recognitions and awards while Ronaldo leads on the outside world of social media. Both players have the biggest fan base in football, with these fans ready to go toe-to-toe with each other at the slightest opportunity.

While Messi was recently named the best men player in the World at the 2023 Ballon d’OR, Cristiano Ronaldo missed out on the top 30 spot of the award.

With the nominations of Globe Soccer Award released and access are given for public votes, Lionel Messi fans are coming together to vote Cristiano Ronaldo to be the winner. This comes with the sense that the Globe Soccer Award is not rated as a top award in football and Ronaldo winning it would be a compensation for missing out on Ballon d’OR.

The award was tagged “the funniest award of all time” by a cactus fans of Lionel Messi as he laughed about both Messi and Ronaldo fans voting for Ronaldo.
