“I have three children” – Griezmann choose between Saudi Arabia and MLS

Atletico Madrid star-man, Antoine Griezmann has chosen between spending the last part of his successful career in the far east in Saudi Arabia or going to North America to play in the Major League Soccer.

Lots of football players, both young and old switch playing in Europe which is considered the home of football for a fatter pay cheque in Saudi Arabia. Since Cristiano Ronaldo moved to the Saudi Pro League, dozens of footballers has also moved to the Arab nation with Neymar being the latest.

Lionel Messi is one player who would have followed suit to play in Saudi Arabia, however the Argentine World Cup winner snubbed billions of dollars to join David Beckham’s Inter Miami in Major League Soccer.

Messi in Major League Soccer and Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia, makes these two leagues a go-to league for players who are looking to ease themselves off the stress in Europe. Saudi ones again becomes a preference over MLS due to the big money being payed to players.

Antoine Griezmann in reaction to this said; “I understand for those players gone to Saudi Arabia. We are talking absolutely incredible sums of money”. “Some would want to safeguard their children, it seems benign to me”. The player further stated – “Could I go there? “I have a family and three children”. It’s not a simple decision to make”.

He however added, The MLS is still in my aim.

Griezmann revealed he still hopes of playing alongside Lionel Messi in Inter Miami. Reports also claimed the France assistant captain keeps tracks of Messi’s activities at Inter Miami.

Other MLS clubs are very interested in signing Antoine Griezmann and are constantly keeping him in check. But seemingly, he wants to have one last dance alongside Lionel Messi as they first dance wasn’t quite a performance to the fans.
