Icardi steals Hakim Ziyech wonder goal on Galatasaray debut

Former Chelsea player, Hakim Ziyech has started off on a sublime note in Turkey after firing one of his trademark shots into the back of the net on his debut for Galatasaray.

The goal however failed to count for the Moroccan after it came off the head of his teammate, Mauro Icardi before getting into the goal.

Galatasaray thrilled Samsunspor to a 4-2 win in their fourth Türkiye Super Lig match. New boy, Hakim Ziyech was a second half substitute who came in for fellow former Premier League player Tete, in the second half.

Two goals from Akturkoglu and a goal from Bardakci was holding Gala up against a Samsunspor side who had found the back of the net twice as they seek an equalizer.

Hakim Ziyech with his gift left foot struck a thunderous shot which slide past the head of Mauro Icardi before shaking the roof of the net.

Icardi was recorded as the scorer with Ziyech credited with an assist. The goal has since gone viral across all social media platforms with many supposing it’s a Puskas award contender.

Hakim Ziyech country, Morocco suffered a devastating earthquake that has seen over 2,000 people dead and 10,000 injured.

He made an ‘M’ gesture while celebrating his strike and revealed the reason behind his celebration was to support his country.
