A Finland referee has awarded an indirect free kick inside the eighteen yard box of a team because the goal keeper held the ball for over six seconds.
The goalkeeper caught the ball from a cross and walked around his box slowly with it. Opponents protest the keeper’s delay tactics before the referee came running and awarded a free kick in the box.
The opponent converted the indirect free kick into a goal in a quick turnaround of events.

A rule of goalkeepers not holding onto the ball for more than six seconds is being used in the league. However, not issuing a yellow card but giving an indirect free kick came as a little surprise.
