Lionel Messi has been handed an ultimate honour in Spain. The Argentine name is officially added as a word in the Spanish dictionary.
Messi’s name was inscribed into a word “In-Messi-onante” and given a fine meaning. The word first emerge in 2013 after Messi’s unbelievable performance against Jose Mourinho’s Real Madrid.
Inmessionante has two meanings that perfectly describe the Argentine legend.
The first is “The perfect way to play football, an unlimited ability to self-improve.”
The second is “Describes the best player of all time.”
Messi played most of his long career in Spain with Barcelona. He hold over 50% of football records in the Spanish La Liga, ranging from goals, assists, dribbles and even chances creates.
Messi has numerous times said Spain is his second home and if he wasn’t representing his county of birth, Argentina at the national level, he would be representing Spain.
