Tottenham midfielder, James Madison has reviewed the chances of his club winning the Premier League title this season.
Tottenham Hotspur are the current league leaders of the Premier League with Manchester City falling to a defeat in the hands of Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
Madison’s Tottenham has gained 20 points from 8 matches played so far this season. Winning 6 and settling for a draw on 2 occasion. Despite being tied with the same points as Arsenal, Spurs tops the table on goal difference.
Speaking on the possibilities of Tottenham winning the Premier League, Madison doesn’t see it as possible yet. He downplayed the thoughts when asked about that.
“What do you think I’m going to say to that? You’re going to get a cliched answer to that unfortunately, buddy! We’ve got to keep going, game by game,” he told reporters.
“We’re so early into the manager’s reign. We’re at the start. Even in training, sometimes the messages he’s giving us, it’s still new, we’re still working on it. It’s not like we’re three years in.
