Former Chelsea player, Joe Cole has hailed Joao Felix to be a good signing for Chelsea despite getting sent off in his first match.
Chelsea completed a loan signing of Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid in a deal worth £9 million and the Portuguese immediately got into the starting lineup. Unfortunately, he was sent off after a reckless challenge on Fulham’s Kenny Tete.
However, apart from Joao Felix red card, he was brilliant in the game. Taking on players and creating chances. He missed some opportunities also but caused a lot of havoc in Fulham’s defense.
Joe Cole, a Chelsea cult legend has showered gratitudes on the new kid, saying he’s a good signing and would make the difference in Chelsea team.
He told BT Sport: “I thought Joao Felix was brilliant tonight.
“I’ve seen enough to know he’s going to be a good signing for Chelsea.
“He showed his ability and personality but that moment of madness changed the game. Felix showed signs he can make a difference in a Chelsea shirt.”
