Kurt Zouma slammed with a fine as Adidas ends contract with player

West Ham Defender Kurt Zouma whose video footage of him slapping and kicking his cat caught the attention of RSPCA, US animal welfare charity has been slammed with a fine by the club and gotten his sponsorship deal with Adidas terminated.

The club initially condemned their player’s actions after the video emerged but backed manager David Moyes’ decision to start the player for the win against Watford on Tuesday night.

The Formal Chelsea defender has been fined the sum of $340,000 by West Ham  this morning and his two cats has been taken away from him by RSPCA for proper care, due to this act, Adidas has ended the sponsorship deal with the French defender.

Moyes has said Zouma would remain available for selection while the club’s internal investigation ran its course, Kurt Zouma was included in the starting lineup against Watford on Tuesday which resulted to a 1-0 win for The Hammers

“Our priority is and has always been the wellbeing of these cats,” an RSPCA spokesperson said.

Adidas also called short to the players sponsorship deal as they condemned Zouma’s brutality on the pet. His both cat has been taken away from him.
