“Kylian and I will do great things at PSG” – Messi on his new blossoming relationship with Mbappe

Lionel Messi have spoken about his new blossoming relationship with Kylian Mbappe as he hopes they both achieve great things a Paris Saint-Germain.

Messi and Mbappe are beginning to nurse great friendship between themselves after returning from the World Cup. Both players were locked in some hostile situation that made many believed they are not best of team mate.

Scenes where Mbappe knocked Messi with shoulder and Messi always seen around Neymar triggered different thoughts about the relationship between the two players.

However, there is a massive change, and both players are now being pictured together always. Posting and congratulating each other on their socials is now very common. Both players are now looking to for a dreadful partnership that won’t be only feared in France but across Europe.

Looking back at the World Cup final where both players went up against each other, Messi said;

It’s true that it was a breathtaking final,” Messi told PSG TV. “And the scenario of the match was completely crazy. Kylian scored three incredible goals in a final!

“So not being able to be champion after that was completely crazy. But he’s already won it too, and he knows what it’s like to be world champion. But yes, it was a great final for the football world.”

On his friendship and desire to lead PSG to success with Mbappe, Messi said;

“And now it’s nice to be able to play in the same team with him, and I hope Kylian and I will do great things together here in Paris.”

PSG will face Bayern Munich in the second leg of their round of sixteen clash in Munich. Messi and Mbappe hopes to turn things around on Wednesday 8th of March as they are one goal down.
