Robert Lewandowski get first red card as a Barcelona player

Barcelona striker, Robert Lewandowski has been shown the red card for the first time in Barcelona’s red and blue jersey.

Barcelona were down 1-0 away to Osasuna with David Garcia giving the home side the lead in just nine minutes of play.

Lewandowski picked up his first yellow card in the eleventh minute before following it up with another yellow in the thirty first minute after a nasty collision on David Garcia.

He was shown a second yellow and afterwards sent off.

Barcelona got a goal just three minutes into the second half, thanks to young wonderkid, Pedri’s effort.

Barcelona was shown a second yellow card in the game through another violent conduct by Gerard Pique who just announced his retirement from professional football.

The Catalan club are now top of La Liga table with five points clear of second place, Real Madrid as Raphinha secured all three points for the team with his 85th minute effort.

Lewandowski red card is his first since he signed for the Spanish giants this summer.
