The first half of the game was such a balanced out next between the two sides as there was nothing separating them going into the half time break which ended goalless draw.

The tempo of the game got more intensed in the second half as they both put up some physical, tactical and technical displays but none was able to break the deadlock until the 93rd minute when Lionel Messi provided a brilliant assist for Kylian Mbappé to make it one nil, which was enough to separate the two sides at full time.
