Luis Suarez has revealed why he’s eager to force a move to LA Galaxy to join his former Barcelona teammate turn best friend, Lionel Messi.
Messi and Suarez had the best of time together at Barcelona after Suarez joined from Liverpool. Aside being teammates, the South American duo turned best friends.
The two got separated due to Barcelona financial difficulties but that didn’t hinder the friendship they built in Spain. Suarez always attending Messi’s big events and Messi showing support for Suarez. The duo would pass to be called twin.
Leo Messi recently made a big move to David Beckham’s LA Galaxy, scoring an outstanding last minute freekick in his debut. Luis Suarez on the other hand plays for Gremio in Brazil.
After Messi signed for LA Galaxy, it took no time when topics regarding Suarez eager to leave Brazil and join Messi in America began to fly. However, renowned journalist, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed Suarez and Gremio has agreed to terminate his contract in December of 2023, not getting to December of 2024 as both parties agreed earlier.
Suarez eyes a reunion with Messi who is also with his teammates from Barcelona, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba. The reunion would end at being a Messi and Suarez reunion but a Barcelona reunion.
Suarez who alongside Lionel Messi establish himself as one of the greatest attackers in the 21 century also revealed a long term dream they both share. He revealed they both dream of becoming retiring from football together.
Messi and Suarez bond doesn’t just end with them, it passes to their families. Messi’s wife and Suarez’s wife are very good friends as well. Both families have vacation together on numerous occasions.
