Forgotten Chelsea signing Malang Sarr liked a post announcing Mauricio Pochettino departure from Chelsea.
The Telegraph announced Mauricio Pochettino has left his role as manager of Chelsea by mutual part agreement.
Reactions to the shocking announcement poured in following the announcement as many did not expect it. However, a few like Malang Sarr are delighted to see the back of the Argentine.
Chelsea signed the ex-Nice defender Malang Sarr on a five-year deal when he became a free agent after his contract expired.
He has since embarked on a series of loan moves before remaining at Chelsea for the 2023/24 season. He remained consigned to the reserves throughout, with Pochettino at one point declining knowledge of the defender.
The departing Argentine faced questions about Sarr’s disappearance in an interview.
“I just want to ask about two players who have disappeared, Malang Sarr who was on loan last season. What has happened to him?”. The reporter failed to complete the question before Pochettino cut in to ask who the defender is.
After failing to get a look in all season, it is no surprise to see that Malang Sarr liked a post announcing Mauricio Pochettino’s departure.
Pochettino had a lot of options to pick from even though the club faced so many injuries during the season.
Wesley Fofana, Benoit Badiashile, Trevor Chaloba, Axel Disasi, Levi Colwill and Thiago Silva featured for the club at different times this season.
A few of those will join Thiago Silva in departing the club this summer and Sarr us expected to follow.
