Erling Haaland spends near two weeks wages on a bank as he invests significant money through his investment company.
Adam Williams reported this for TBRfootball, that the Norwegian bought £600,000 worth of equity in Maritime & Merchant Bank ASA.
The Manchester City striker made the purchase through his investment company as confirmed in the company’s financial statements.
That amount is just £150,000 short of this two weeks, £375,000 a week salary at EPL side Manchester City.
Erling Haaland’s father, Alf-Inge Haaland is also an investor in the Norway-based bank according to reports.
It represents another important financial investment following previous investment in a confectionery business that now produces “Haaland ice cream”.

Erling Haaland bagged 27 goals in the just concluded season to help Man City claim their fourth title in a row.
He commented following him pipping Chelsea’s Cole Palmer to the scorer’s gong after a late flurry of goals:

The Norwegian has been in imperious form since his arrival in 2022, proving to be nearly unstoppable at times. At least that is what it looked like in his first season.
He appears to have slowed down this season but he is just nine short of last season’s total, with 27 and 36 respectively.
It comes as no surprise that Erling Haaland spends near two weeks wages on a bank as he applies the same approach to his game. The striker obviously spends a lot of time honing his scoring prowess to get him where he is right now!
