Manchester United fans clash over call for Erik ten Hag sack

Fans of Manchester United has found themselves in heated arguments as they look to dictate the club’s poor run of form and the fate of the coach, Erik ten Hag.

Manchester United yet again suffered a loss in the Premier League, loosing 3-1 to Brighton at Old Trafford. Giving The Seagulls a back-to-back win at the club home soil.

Erik ten Hag was dubbed the perfect replacement of Sir Alex Ferguson after his tremendous works at Ajax made him the only managerial option for the Manchester Club.

Two seasons down the line and The Red Devils are still as shaky has they’ve been since Ferguson retirement or even worst. The club has failed to show any sign that they’re are recovering from the tomoil they’ve suffered in the past few years.

Things had seem to be on track for the no nonsense manager in later part of the 2022/23 season when he won the Carabao Cup and also held the club down to secure a Champions League spot by finishing third in the League.

However, a quick turnaround of events happened in the start of 2023/24 season. Ten Hag’s Manchester United has only been able to secure six points from their first five outings in the Premier League, making them sit 13th on the Premier League table.

Aside loosing matches and owing goals in the the early start of the league, Man Utd style of play has been very worrisome. The team has been tagged as “patternless” after it was dificult for fans to dictate what style is been played by the club.

These hectic beginning to a new season has gotten some fans off their cool and they’ve immediately begin the call for the sack of Erik ten Hag.

The sack chant however doesn’t sit well with some faction of the club fans who believe the Dutch tactician still needs more time to get things working as he has everything under control.
