Marcos Alonso to train with Barca women team

Barcelona left back, Marcos Alonso has opted to train with the women team of Barcelona in order to boost his confidence.

Marcos Alonso has fallen out of form and favour in Xavi Hernandez’s team. Playing a few games and regularly coming in as a second half substitute.

It’s the week of international break and most players from Barcelona are off to represent their national teams. Alonso didn’t get an invite from the Spanish national team.

To boost his confidence level, the 32-year-old has decided to training with the Barcelona women team during the short period of international break.

This is to help him regain his confidence on the pitch and with the ball. Ultimately, this is to help him realise some playing time when the team returns from international break.
