Paris Saint-Germain star, Kylian Mbappe is by far the highest earning player in football worldwide after his new contract with the team.

Mbappe was linked with a move away from Paris last summer with Spainish giants, Real Madrid being his favorite.

After much deliberation, Kylian Mbappe chooses to stay with PSG therefore calling off a possible move to Santiago Bernabeu.

It was reported that France President, Emmanuel Macron was key in convincing the 23-year-old to accept a new contract at PSG.

After much speculations concerning his new deal at Paris, French outlet, Le Parisien has taken a dive into Mbappe’s contract and revealed his deal that sat him back down in Paris.

• Salary of €72m/year

• Signing bonus of €180m in 3 installments

• Scalable loyalty bonus, paid after each summer window: €70m, then €80m, then €90m if he takes the optional year.

Kylian Mbappe salary has been termed outrageous by football fans who believes the young World Cup winner doesn’t deserve to earn that high.

Despite his new hiked deal, Mbappe is said to be unhappy at Paris Saint-Germain and has requested to live, though he denied the rumors days after it broke.
