French giant, Paris Saint-Germain took on Isreali team, Maccabi Haifa in the Champions League, winning by three goals to one and taking their points to six in group H.
Maccabi Haifa took the lead early in the 24th minute of the match before Lionel Messi got an equalizer through a loose ball in the 37th minute of the match.

Having earlier tied the record, Messi’s goal and assist against Maccabi Haifa has taken him from the same level as Pele and now creating a new record for himself.
Lionel Messi now boost of a career 1,113 goals and assists as a professional footballer. The 35-year-old would now be looking at distancing his record from that set by Pele.
All Messi’s 1,113 goals and assists came from his playing years with Barcelona and his now current club side, Paris Saint-Germain, in addition to his national team.
