Cristiano Ronaldo have reacted to the buzz around Erling Haaland and his superb goal scoring spree, sayin nothing about it excites him as it is only normal.
Haaland joined the Premier League last summer and have since stunned many with his abilities in front of goal. The former Borussia Dortmund star have netted 42 goals across all competitions this season.
It is widely believed that Haaland would break most of the goal records held by Ronaldo and Messi but the Portuguese have said he’s not bothered about that.
Ronaldo said that one thing young players can wish to have is 5 Ballon d’ORs and 5 Championship League. Tagging the goals Haaland is scoring as just normal.
“I am not worried about Haaland or anyone who can break my record for most Champions League goals. One thing they can wish is to have 5 Ballon d’or and 5 Champions League Titles. Those are serious records that belongs to the Legends. What he he is doing right now is totally normal, nothing excites me about it.”
At this time, Ronaldo has a total career goals of 846 at the age of 38 while Erling Haaland has a total career goal of 218 at the age of 22.
