Fans has reacted to Arsenal defender, Oleksandr Zinchenko showing support for Israel in the ongoing chaos between Israel and Palestine.
Zinchenko has publicly shown support for Israel by posting a banner that boldly reads “I Stand With Israel” on his Instagram page.
This has however met the bitter side of fans who immediately recalled how Mesut Ozil was treated after he publicly showing support for Uighurs Muslims who were oppressed in China.
Ozil support for Uighurs Muslims was reportedly to be against Arsenal’s principles, with the club being against players involvement in political matters. This eventually led to the end of Ozil’s career in Arsenal.
With Zinchenko statement rated as political, fans are now requesting he gets the exact treatment given to Ozil.
