Pele might be edging closer to deathbed as another report of his worsened health emerge

Legendary Brazilian footballer, Pele’s health as reported worsen and he is currently in a critical condition.

With every footballer hoping for the football legend to live a little longer, it seems the inevitable is no where far from him again.

Pele has been sick and diagnosed with colon cancer for a while. He has been receiving treatments, but new reports has it that the Brazilian is not responding to treatment.

Pele has spent a greater part of 2022 in the hospital and has been unable to attend important sport gatherings where he ought to be.

His daughters and grandson, Kely and Flavia Nascimento and Arthur Arantes do Nascimento said Pele would return home after his chemotherapy in his fight against cancer.

Prior to their claims, Pele might not be leaving his sickbed anytime soon with fresh reports from the Albert Einstein hospital in Sao Paulo.

Edson Arantes do Nascimento, popularly known as Pele was diagnosize with colon cancer in September 2021 and the state of his cancer is yet to be known.

Fans across the world are beginning to pay tribute to the football great in whatever way they can. Fans and well wishers organized a vigil for prayers and tributes to him.

His grandson, Arthur Arantes do Nascimento said;

“I see people telling me ‘rest in peace’ (for Pelé). One day it will happen, but it is not today,” Arthur Arantes do Nascimento said. “He is going to be well, it is a matter of time. He will see Brazil lift the sixth title.”
