After Chelsea’s victory at Fulham, manager Mauricio Pochettino given an injury update and expressed optimism that Mykhaylo Mudryk and Moises Caicedo injury’s would not be serious.
To relieve some of the burden on Pochettino and his team, the visitors scored through Mudryk and Armando Broja.
But at halftime, Pochettino took off the Ukrainian winger, as he subsequently explained.
“He was doing well.
“[It is] unlucky that at half time he felt something in his quad but we hope that it is not a big issue and he will be ready for Saturday.”
For Moises Caicedo he said;
“Caicedo was a contusion but also hopefully it’s nothing wrong. He was tired, but it was a contusion. “
