Emotion rains as Tite announce Brazil 26 man squad for 2022 World Cup

Brazil head coach, Tite has announced his 26 man squad that would be representing the nation in the coming FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The World Cup squad includes both foreign based players and players who plays in the Brazilian domestic league.

Some players couldn’t hold back how they felt, they pour out their emotions as they watch the country’s coach call out their names on television from their respective homes.

Former Manchester United left-back, Alex Telles as sitting next to his wife and crying on the couch upon hearing his name.

Newcastle United midfielder, Bruno Guimaraes held his baby in his arms, celebrating with a family member.

Manchester United winger, Anthony was seen with friends jumping for joy.

Tottenham Hotspur attacker, Richarlison had his face buried on his knee as he prayed without wanting to look at the television screen.

Pedro upon hearing his name in the World Cup list, fell to one knee and proposed to his girlfriend.

A different kind of happiness and self fulfilment comes when representing your country at the World Cup. For some of the players it’s their first time and its quite unsure if they’ll keep their form and make it to another World Cup tournament.

As some players celebrate, others are sad and heartbroken for not getting called up. Notable mention is Liverpool’s Firminho who is a surprise omission from the squad.

Forwards: Neymar, Vinicius Junior, Richarlison, Raphinha, Gabriel Jesus, Pedro, Rodrygo, Antony, Gabriel Martinelli.
